Biography

Amina is an Associate at Heltavel LP, an excellence-driven law firm committed to protecting and advancing its clients’ interests. She earned a First Class degree in Law from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, graduating as the Best Graduating Student in her class.

An aspiring litigation specialist, Amina has interests and experience in legal research, drafting, international law, maritime law, human rights, dispute resolution, and criminal law. She completed the training and examination of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators and is an arbitrator with alternative dispute resolution expertise. She delivers legal solutions tailored to clients’ needs.

Before joining Heltavel LP, Amina interned at G. Elias and Olaniwun Ajayi LP, assisting with civil and commercial litigation. She also interned with the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons, contributing insights and recommendations to policies concerning returnees and migrants.

As an undergraduate, Amina received academic and advocacy awards and participated in moot court competitions. Her team won Best Memorial for the Defence at the African International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition.
